Activated charcoal pellets of vegetable origin, activated in a hot air oven and mechanically pressed. The density of the material guarantees a high level of filtration through the MESOPORE thanks to the specific structure.
In the aquarium environment, charcoal fulfills several functions:
– removes chlorides;
– removes unpleasant odors;
– removes the yellowish color of the water;
– removes traces of medicinal product residues after their use;
– removes heavy metals, including iron and lead;
– cleans water.
NOT EFFECTIVE AGAINST NITRITE, NITRATE OR AMMONIA.
TECHNICAL DATA: Water content: less than 8%. – Ash content: less than 8%. – Porosity: 1100 m2 per gram of product. – Molecular composition: MESOPORE (trapping of impurities between 2 – 50 microns). – Iodine absorption: 1000 mg/g. – Ph: 7-7.5.
USE: 500gr for treatment of 300 liters of water. REPLACE COAL AFTER A MONTH.
After using medicinal products, mineral nutrients, fertilizers, liquid feed and trace element integrators, remove all carbon from the filter.
